Bovis value and sacred sites

At a conference about Dream research in Rolduc many people were talking about sacred sites and how they would influece perception, mystical experiences and of course dreaming. When I asked if a classification of sacred sites existed, nobody knew about it. Now on the internet there are some rankings, where people voted for the it, but this has little comparative value, unless it is done on a truly grand scale.

Now for the quality of water there is a standard methodoly, called Bovis Value, established by controlled dowsing. This method can be applied to other things, I used it to analyse fires in a ritual context (www.lucsala.nl/fire.htm) but is can be easily applied to sacred sites. Of course the personal experience there can differ; time of the year, celestial condition, gender, age etc. will yield a range of values, but just to illustrate that it can be done, see some data below (very general and quick). I think this approach would be helpful in doing research about these places, als a bovis scale result could be found for the water in those places.

(at the power spots in)

Lourdes   250.000

Jerusalem  150.000

Stonehenge 100.000

Sedona  150.000

Chartres 150.000

Avesbury 300.000

Rome St.Peter 80.000

Grand canyon 120.000

Mt Tamalpais 130.000

Mt Shasta 130.000

Mt Fuji 140.000

Glastonbury Tor 180.000

Glastonbury Cathedal high Altar 110.000

Chichen Itza 110.000

Machu Pichu 260.000

Palenque Pacal Votan Shrine 110.000

Gizeh Pyramid 350.000

Mekka Kaaba 90.000

Verdun fortresses 5

Auschwitz 10

This could of course be separated in geomantic (leylines etc.), human holy, nature diversity aspects. In fact this method, which yields repeatable results, could be applied in a lot more studies about art, minerals, art, and many esoteric subjects.

* Anton Bovis, a French archaeologist-physicist, while doing research
regarding the pyramids noticed that there appeared to exist an energy
phenomena that would be useful. He called it a lifeforce scale. This
scale measured the lifeforce in various items such as food or water.
The following describes the basics of the Bovis Scale:
“The Bovis Scale, developed by a French physicist, quantifies or
measures how positively or negatively charged a substance is. For
living organisms, the key reference point on the scale is found at
6,500 Bovis Energy Units. From 0 to 6,500, the charge is in the
NEGATIVE range, or life-detracting, while above the 6,500 point the
energy gradually becomes more POSITIVE, or life-enhancing.
The desired minimal energy level for humans is found between 8,000 to
10,000 Bovis Energy Units, or slightly positive. The Earth itself
creates energy in the 7,000 to 18,000 range. This energy is also
referred to as "Biophotons", which are light particles invisible to
our eyes. This positive radiation is necessary to the maintenance of
life on Earth.”

A value of 6500 on the Bovis scale is considered neutral.

There is a link between a measured value on the Bovis Scale and the
direction of the spin of atoms. It is further described by the
following:
“Scientific research has correlated the clockwise or right spin if
atoms and molecules with a Bovis reading below 6,500 (i.e.
life-depleting).  Besides mismanagement of the environment,
readings below 6,500 are the effect of underground streams, geological
faults, and Earth's magnetic grids.  A counter clockwise or left spin
correlates with a reading above 6,500 (i.e. life-enhancing).  Several
of Earth's energy vortices exceed 2,000,000 Bovis.”
